Howdy Sho-Bud fans and welcome to the very unofficial website about Sho-Bud acoustic guitars. This site is in no way affiliated with Sho-Bud Musical Instruments, Sho-Bud Music, or any other company. It is simply a place for people to share information about the extremely hard to find Sho-Bud acoustic guitars. If you have ANY information, catalog images, photos of instruments or anything else that would be helpful in building this site, PLEASE SHARE!

Hey! Each day I can check my website stats and see what search terms people use to get to my site. I notice a lot of people search for specific Sho-Bud guitars. If you own one of these, or you know of one for sale, please contact me and let me know. I would really like to get a dialog going with any owners out there. Or if you know of one for sale, please let me know so we can try to keep track of it and let future owners know about the site. CLICK TO EMAIL

According to Bluebook, Sho-Bud acoustics have spruce tops and mahogany necks. The Club (Model 7720) features mahogany sides, and a 2-piece back; the Diamond (Model 7722) features rosewood sides and the 2-piece back. The Heart (Model 7724) has rosewood back and sides, mother-of-pearl inlays, and abalone purfling; the Spade (Model 7726) features a rosewood fingerboard, ebony bridge, and abalone bridge pins. The aptly named Grand Slam (Model 7728) has jacaranda back and sides, and an inlaid heel plate.

There are additional models as well and hopefully we'll be able to gather more info on them too.
